How Can I Help
Hello and welcome!
I’m Caroline Brown, and I am an Integrative Counsellor and Therapist ( person-centred and psychodynamic), so I can meet you where you are in your journey. Whether you need help with your anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, grief, shame, guilt, stress, neurodiversity or relationship problems.
I offer a space where you can unpack what is making you feel overwhelmed or the concern that you are facing and over some time get a new perspective on it.
Integrative counselling helps to promote healing and facilitate wholeness ensuring that all levels of your being and functioning (mental, physical and emotional health) are maximised to their full potential.
This space is open to you for the exploration of how the problem or issue is having an impact on your life in the present. It may be that there is a past issue that has reemerged which has been affecting you today.
Enabling you to better focus on the fears and hurts that limit your psychological freedom, and recognise specific triggers that may be disrupting your life.
It’s through this awareness, that integrative therapy can help you to create a healthy alliance between mind and body - empowering you to start setting goals and practising new behaviours that will enable you to move beyond your limitations and discover greater life satisfaction.
Qualifications
I am a Registrant on the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and the National Counselling Psychotherapy Society NCPS (Accredited ). Diploma in Therapeutic Integrative Counselling (psychodynamic and person-centred) and a Certified Clinical Trauma (CCTP). In addition to this, I have an MSC in Psychology.
